Alpha Industries x Cecilie Bahnsen
Icons in transformation

Alpha Industries and Cecilie Bahnsen announce their first collaboration, launching January 2026.

The collection reimagines two of Alpha’s most iconic outerwear styles – the MA-1 and N-2B bomber jackets – through the lens of Cecilie Bahnsen’s romantic, detail-driven design. Rooted in Alpha’s utilitarian heritage, the pieces are transformed with layered constructions, floral motifs, and soft textures, balancing structure with softness, utility with emotion.

At the core are three silhouettes: a cropped MA-1 and two versions of the N-2B. Each piece starts from Alpha’s original design – engineered for functionality, built for performance – and is reinterpreted through Cecilie Bahnsen’s language of delicate craft. Laser-cut florals, embroidered patches and dimensional finishes bring movement and tactility to the jackets, while preserving the integrity of their original form.

“I’ve seen so many girls, especially in Japan, styling bomber jackets over dresses. It felt like a natural evolution of our world, to start with these iconic Alpha shapes and reinterpret them through our own lens of femininity.”

The MA-1 is presented in a black cropped silhouette, layered in cut-out fabrics that seem to blossom outward. The N-2B appears in two colorways – tonal navy, and army green with soft pink detailing – each featuring floral patchwork inspired by Garden Bulbs in Color (1941), a vintage gardening book Cecilie discovered with her son. The sculptural hood can be unzipped to reveal the jacket’s signature onion-quilted interior – now detailed with Bahnsen’s floral motifs.

As with all Alpha gear, the foundation is functional. But here, the jackets evolve. What begins as utility becomes something unexpected – a study in contrasts, where toughness meets tenderness and structure gives way to transformation.
